dance classes
The style of dancing that is
taught at Starlight is a cross between pop and jazz, it also depicts the style
of musical that we choose to perform.
Pupils take a dance class each week. However, pupils do not have to have had any
dance training and this is not a dance school.
The
ability of Starlight ranges from experienced dancers to pupils with two left feet,
all we ask is that pupils TRY to do their best. All get a fair chance. We feel it
is important for all abilities to be seen at the front - be they good, bad or indifferent.
For pupils who enjoy dancing then they can audition to be part of
the A-Group dancers - a small group of very good dancers, who have much
harder and extra dance routines in the musical shows.
